On and Off
Chart Mode
➤ To switchthe displayon, press and hold the POWER key untilthe unitbeeps.
Ifthe displaywaslastused in chartplottermode,thekeyslight up and the
Raychartgraphicis displayed,followedbythecaution:
CAUTION:
Raychartchartdisplaysarebasedon cartographicdatathat
C-MAPbelievestobeaccurate.However,you shouldnotrely onthese
displaysasyourprimarysource ofnavigation.Rather,yourRaychart
shouldbe usedonlyasa backup toofficialgovernmentchartsand
traditional methodsof navigation.
Whenyouhavereadandunderstoodthecaution,pressthe CONTINUE softkey.
The chart is displayed.
Ifthis isthefirsttimethechartplotterhas beenturned on, andno chartcardis
installed, the displayshows the small-scaleworld map and the defaultsoft
keys.Otherwise,the displayshows the selectedchartarea andanydatathat
weredisplayedwhenthe displaywas last used.

advisabletoreplacethesuncoverprovidedwhenthecolorLCDdisplayis
notinuse.
