Editing the Waypoint
Details
➤ To removethewaypointdataboxandsoftkeys either:
Movethecursoraway fromthe waypoint,or pressCLEAR.
➤ To displaythe waypointdetailsfromthewaypoint list:
Selectthewaypointin the listas describedabove.
Thedetailsforthe selectedwaypoint are displayedin the lower halfofthe
window.Temperature,depth,dateand time are included(if available)for
waypointsplacedat the vesselposition.
To removethe WaypointListand returntothedefaultsoft key display, press
CLEAR twice.
Editing the Waypoint Details
Youcanchangethe name, symboland position of anywaypoint.
➤ To edita waypoint:
1. Selectthewaypoint,usingthecursoror the waypointlist, as previously
described. The waypoint softkeysaredisplayed.
2. Pressthe EDIT WAYPOINT softkey. TheEditWaypointsoftkeys are dis-
played:
3. To editthe symbol,press the SYMBOL soft key.
Usethesoftkeys,showninthe followingillustration,tohighlightthe
requiredsymbol,thenpressENTER toconfirmtheselection.
PressENTER or CLEAR to returnto the defaultsoftkeys.
4. To editthe waypoint name,presstheNAME soft key.
TheNAME WAYPOINT window is displayed.
Usethetrackpadto enteroreditthe name:
Usetheleftor rightsideof thetrackpadtomovethecursortothecharacter
youwishtochange.
Usethetopor bottom of thetrackpadto scrollthrough thecharacters.
Whenyouhave finished editing the name,toremove thewindow,press
ENTER to save the name or CLEAR tocancelthe operation.The waypoint
namereplacesthe waypoint number.
PressENTER or CLEAR toreturntothedefaultsoft keys.
