Navionics exclusive vectorised fully Seamless technology, providing clearly legible charts without clutter, holes or discontinuities. Gold charts are now available in the new

XL9-size giving huge coverage areas, while Platinum and Platinum Plus are available in the great value XL3-size. Both coverage sizes offer the same outstanding detail of

the smaller sizes of the past, at up to 16 zoom levels. All recent plotters compatible with Navionics charts accept standard and expandable cartridge formats, such as

Electronic Cartography

Gold charts bring electronic cartography a step closer

to the official paper charts. Bathymetries are easily

distinguishable thanks to the different colour shadings,

light sectors of lighthouses and real forms and colours

of buoys. The boater can select the contour colours to

differentiate and identify shallow and hazardous areas

as well as difficult-to-anchor, deeper water.

Navionics Platinum is the first “Multi-dimensional”

electronic chart system for marine chartplotters. In

recent years, PC-based applications have enabled

users to show charts and other ancillary information

using various CDs. However the limitations of using

a PC on a boat - in particular if you want the imfor-

mation available on the flybridge or in the cockpit,

are well known.

Now, Navionics Platinum offers charts with enhanced

features such as 3-D bathymetrics, cruising guides,

satellite and photographic images and more - all

integrated and geo-referenced on a single plug &
