GPS Chartplotters
Northstar’s popular range of daylight view chartplotters are all C-Map MAX compatible and have an inbuilt 16Mb
regional background map. The 5in Explorer 550 is available with an internal or an external GPS antenna. The
5in Explorer 557 and 6.4in Explorer 567 feature higher resolution displays and AIS input.

Combines chartplotting and fishfinding in a single unit, offering simplicity of use, top performance, powerful
output and high resolution displays. They also offer features such as petrol or fuel management as well as
SmartCraft™ compatibility. The Explorer 657 features a higher resolution display and AIS navigation input.

Fishfinders
Featuring sophisticated sounder technology and easy
to use operation, the bright high resolution 640x480
displays make these dedicated fishfinders a stunning
addition to a boat of any size. A dual frequency
fishfinder allows you to select optimum performance
for either deep or shallow water. Both units allow you
you to choose between dual and single frequency
display, either narrow or wide angle.

The Northstar Explorer 710 is fully DSC capable and
features call logs with instant call back capability.
The large LCD presents 4 lines of text to display
channel names, GPS position, GPS speed, GPS
course or time, and DSC messages.

NORTHSTAR VHF 721
Fixed DSC VHF
The VHF 721 has been designed with ease-of-use in
mind. The large display ensures a host of important
information is clearly visible. Keep track of baromet-
ric pressure, fishing conditions, and with four lines of
text you can easily view DSC messages, boat posi-
tion, time and channel name. This model also fea-
tures the option of a second station handset (the
701). Ideal for fly-bridge, sailboat cockpit or any-
where a second VHF station is useful. The second
station mic for the VHF 721 features the same large
LCD and gives complete control of all DSC and radio
functions. The intercom function allows you to com-
municate between the base and the second-station
handset. The handset is rated JIS7 water-resistant to
withstand the tough marine environment.
