Radar Scanners
Both Radome and Open Array type scanners are
offered. The Radome has a full cover over the
rotating antenna and is best for compact
installations and for sailing vessels to prevent
fouling from halyards.
For better range and higher resolution, the Open
Array type antenna is pedestal mounted with a
visible rotating antenna.
Type Scanner Max Range Part #
Radome 2KW 18” 24NM RAY#M92650
Radome 4KW 24” 48NM RAY#M92652
Open Array 4KW 48” 72NM RAY#T52001
Open Array 10KW 48” 72NM RAY#T52012
Open Array 4KW 72” 72NM RAY#T52013
Open Array 10KW 72” 72NM RAY#T52014
The maximum range stated is best case. Actual range
depends on scanner elevation above sea level, sea clutter
and climatic conditions.
